Filipino pride SB19 proudly raised the Philippine flag at ROUND ASEAN-Korea Music Festival held on Sunday, January 9.
Performing in front of the iconic Cultural Center of the Philippines in Pasay City, the phenomenal group showcased the Filipino culture in the international music festival which was streamed virtually.
The new youth and Sentro Rizal ambassadors, in modern Barong (traditional Filipino man’s attire), kicked off their set with their empowering song, ‘What?’, a perfect track to introduce themselves and the country they represent.
The group followed with heartwarming performances of their ballad songs ‘Tilaluha’ and ‘MAPA.’
SB19 wrapped up their stage performing two of their notable songs – ‘Go Up,’ a song that opened a lot of doors for the group since it went viral in 2019; and ‘Bazinga’ which continues to dominate Billboard’s Hot Trending Songs chart.
Round ASEAN – Korea Music Festival, presented by KBS in partnership with ASEAN, intends to promote exchanges between Korea and ASEAN countries by utilizing popular music.
Composed of Pablo, Stell, Ken, Josh, and Justin, SB19 was the second Filipino act to perform in the music festival, after Ben&Ben which represented the Philippines in 2020.
