Zephanie signed a contract with Sparkle GMA Artist Center on Thursday, March 31, officiated through a press conference held at the B Hotel in Quezon City in partnership with Cornerstone Entertainment.
Dubbed as ‘This Generation’s Pop Princess,’ Zephanie impressed the public through her rendition of Jordin Sparks’ “This Is My Now” and Barbra Streisand’s “Home”, prior to answering questions from the press about her transfer to GMA Network.
When asked about who she’s most excited to work with in the Kapuso Network, the teen star mentioned the singing pillars of the network which include Julie Anne San Jose, Lani Misalucha, Mark Bautista, and Christian Bautista.
Additionally, Zephanie said that she’s open to the possibility of trying acting, apart from singing and performing.
Meanwhile, the teen singer is set to have her first appearance in musical variety show ‘All Out Sundays’ on April 3.
Zephanie released her first self-titled full album back in January, almost three years after emerging as the first ever Grand Winner of reality singing TV competition Idol Philippines. She previously took part in the Now United boot camp in Abu Dhabi where she trained for two weeks, along with other talents from other countries.
