1st.One is a Filipino boy band formed and trained by the Korea-based talent management company named FirstOne Entertainment. Ace, Alpha, Max, and Joker were former members of the dance group named “VJBros”. Prior to their official debut on July 31, 2020, 1st.One shared the stage with well-known K-pop artists at the 29th Seoul Music Awards, including Taeyeon, Red Velvet, NCT, Twice, Monsta X, and others. By being the first Filipino pop group to perform at the Seoul Music Awards in South Korea. Their debut single, “You Are The One (Ttak Maja Nuh),” which was released on July 31, 2020, was written by the members with the assistance of Korean producers including Docskim who have worked with Big Hit Entertainment artists including BTS. The group signed with Warner Music Philippines distribute its albums and songs on March 31, 2022.
The group’s pop-rock track “Shout Out” made its Billboard Hot Trending Song debut on November 29, 2022, at position 13. (HTS). Before the day was out, “Shout Out” took first place on the 24-hour real-time ranking, surpassing all other songs in the world. With this success, 1stOne became the second Filipino act to appear on the Billboard HTS list. Now that they have reached this milestone, they followed the P-pop group SB19, who was the first P-Pop idol group to enter the global music rankings.
