ECLIPSE, was previously known as YAMA is a pre-debut group consists of seven (7) members, namely, Lex, Dean, Gilly, Clyde, Gab, Rave and Joshuel. Most of the members were trainees of the P-pop Survival Reality Show, “TOP CLASS: Rise to P-pop Stardom”, aired on TV5, (June-August 2022), hosted by Miss Universe 2018- Catriona Gray, Asia’s Soul Supreme- KZ Tandingan, Pinoy Rap Phenom – Shanti Dope and World-Class Choreographer- Brian Puspos. Threes members -Lex, Dean and Gilly were hailed as the grand winners in the said reality show. The group was managed by KUMU Philippines. They launched a daily live streaming channel on KUMU app called, “YAMA’s Crib” and a youtube channel wherein they showcase their trainings and journey until they reach their much awaited debut on the P-pop scene.
On March 22, 2023, KUMU has released the official statement that after much consideration and discussion, they have mutually decided to part ways and move toward a new direction. They have also announced that the group has joined the Merlion Entertainment and eventually the have announced that the group rebranded to ECLIPSE.
Basically ECLIPSE is a group that will always and forever rise, and will add their VALUE until they reach the peak of the MOUNTAIN of their dreams, making it the most magnificent TREASURE in the P-pop industry, with all their precious “JEWELS” (fandom).
