G22 is a four-member girl group under Cornerstone Entertainment. On February 25, 2022, the group released their debut song, BANG! They attended the 2022 PPOPCON on April 9–10 as an opening acts for the convention and concert which were held on New Frontier Theater and Smart Araneta Coliseum respectively. Later on, they unveiled their upcoming comeback song entitled “Babalik” on May 13. G22 shared the same stage with K-Pop artists such as Viviz, Brave Girls, Loona, Be’O, Hyolyn, and Park Bom for joint concert called POPstival 2022 Brings Together K-Pop and P-Pop Acts. The group was also given a chance to be one of the opening acts for the K-Pop group ENHYPEN for their BYS Fanmeeting together with VXON and Darren Espanto that was on December 2022. The group dropped that they would be making a comeback on February 25, for their first year anniversary entitled “Boomerang”.
