Maris Racal hopes to empower with Filipino version of Disney Princess Anthem ‘Starting Now’
Disney Music Asia has released the official lyric video of ’Simulan’ featuring singer-actress Maris Racal.
The song is the Filipino version of the Disney Princess anthem “Starting Now” from Disney’s Ultimate Princess Celebration.
In an Instagram post, Maris said she’s still in disbelief for recording a Disney song.
“It’s not every day you’re asked to record a song for Disney. My heart is so full, I still can’t believe it,” she wrote.
Through the song, Maris hopes it would empower young Filipinas to do the things they’ve always wanted to do.
