Rookie girl group LITZ releases music video for pre-debut single ‘NATATARANTA’
Heads up, P-pop stans! A new girl group has arrived.
On Friday evening, VIVA introduces its newest P-pop girl group LITZ, with the release of their own rendition of the song ‘NATATARANTA’ originally performed by singer-songwriter James Reid.
LITZ (an abbreviation of ‘life in the sunshine’) is composed of Bianca, Ashtine, Fatima, Heart, and Yumi.
During the press conference a few hours before their pre-debut, it was revealed that the group has been training since May where they get assessed by celebrity choreographer Georcelle Dapat-Sy, along with the choreographers in her dance studio. s
Originally, six girls were handpicked to be in the group’s line-up however, one member had to leave for Japan due to the uncertainty caused by the pandemic.
According to Georcelle, they are in talks with and currently listening to the song demos sent by Singaporean and Swedish producers who are helping them to find the right music for the group.
Aside from their pre-debut release, LITZ will perform at “Arrival: The Next Chapter of OPM” virtual concert on November 27 headlined by VIVA’s new breed of singers.
The official debut date of LITZ has yet to be announced by VIVA.
