Ben&Ben, Moira dela Torre, Leanne & Naara, IV of Spades, and BGYO emerged as some of the big winners at the 34th Awit Awards ‘Proudly Homegrown’ held virtually on November 29 evening.

Folk-pop band Ben&Ben won Record of the Year and Best Inspirational Recording for their song ‘Di Ka Sayang’, Best Ballad Song for ‘Sa Susunod na Habang Buhay,’ and emerged as the Most Streamed Artist for this year’s Awit Awards.

Filipina singer-songwriter Moira dela Torre’s bagged four awards including Most Streamed Song and Song of the Year for the track ‘Paubaya’, Best Traditional / Contemporary Folk Recording for ‘Kita na Kita’, and Best Song Written for a Movie/TV/Stage Play for ‘Hanggang sa Huli’.

Other winners include Leanne and Naara getting two awards (Best R&B Recording & Album of the Year), IV of Spades whose track ‘Sariling Multo (Sa Panaginip)’ nabbed Best Rock / Alternative Recording and Best Performance by a Group Recording Artist, and rising Filipino boy group BGYO taking home their first-ever Awit for the People’s Voice Favorite Group Artist.
