Minzy, K-pop’s OG Queen of Dance from 2NE1, joins SB19’s ‘GENTO’ dance challenge
Minzy, hailed as the Queen of Dance in K-pop and a member of the popular group 2NE1, recently took part in SB19‘s viral ‘GENTO’ dance challenge. The talented artist shared her rendition of the dance challenge on her social media accounts on Sunday, July 2.
Minzy revealed in the caption that her fellow 2NE1 member, Sandara Park, recommended the challenge to her. Sandara Park expressed her approval by commenting, “As expected 👍👍👍 me?! I need more time to practice🤣🤣🤣 Minzy and I used to be in different classes during our trainee days 🤣🤣🤣”
Shortly after Minzy posted the video clip on Twitter, Stell, SB19’s main vocalist and lead dancer, shared it, expressing his seal of approval.
In addition, he conveyed his appreciation by replying to her tweet with the words, “Thank you, Minzy sunbaenim (senior)!“
SB19’s ‘GENTO’ dance challenge has been gaining immense popularity, with numerous local and international personalities and casuals participating in the trend started by the phenomenal P-pop group. As of now, the song has been featured in over 900 thousand videos on TikTok.
In other news, SB19 recently commenced their ‘PAGTATAG! World Tour’ in Manila last week. The talented boy group has exciting plans to take their tour to various destinations, both locally and worldwide.
