Introducing BLVCK Entertainment’s freshest P-pop girl group, BLVCK FLOWERS, released their first digital album along with the music video for the carrier single, ‘PPOPSTAR.’

The quartet was introduced to the media last Monday, July 10, with their family and some fans in attendance as well. The group’s name came to be by combining “black”, the name of their talent agency, and “flower” which represents beauty. Their name stands for power and beauty, which is the core goal of the group – to use and enhance beauty as a positive force through music, artistic performance, and influence. Members Yara, Shanis, Pola, and Candace appeared with such grace but blew the audience with their exclusive performance of ‘PPOP STAR.’

“PPOPSTAR” is a shoutout to artists who want to create a mark in the industry. True to its message, even the sound is unconventional, edgy, and radical. Complementing the song is the badass choreography conceived by their coach Ren Bernardino – which showcased the physical prowess of the members doing stunts. It is composed by Romel Afable and JG Beats as Beat Producer.

Revealed for the first time, their 3-million music video was as explosive as its budget. Directed by Direk Titus Cee and Jon Gutierrez a.k.a King Badger as the Creative Director, they shared how they really gave it their all to better showcase the beauty and power the ladies possess; going as far as releasing their inner femininity. Inevitably, BLVCK FLOWERS shed tears as they finally watch the fruit of their hardwork.

It wasn’t an easy journey for the girls and the team behind them. Some of the members juggle training and studies, yet they pushed themselves and fought for their dream. Adventurous as their sound, even the messages of their songs are all about bravely facing reality. Conquering all heights of challenges, BLVCK FLOWERS is ready for more.

Together with the carrier single Ppop Star, their digital album also includes 4 other songs – Eyyy, Sindikato, BLVCK FLOWERS, and the performance version of Sindikato. It is now available on all music streaming platforms: Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Youtube Music, and more.

Look out for this group as they will also be performing at the PPOP Convention on July 14-16 at Quantum Skyview Gateway Mall, Araneta City, Cubao!
